Brilliant sunlight and warm summer-like temperatures formed the background of this year?s opening of the incentive and team building season in March which started with an innovation in team building.
With its large panorama terrace, an ideal place for incentives and team building activities, the Park Hyatt in Canyamel was the perfect location for the team building kick-off. 150 people, all looking forward to the incentive programme of the next three days, enjoyed the view over the sea and the mountain range of the nature park with a freshly made welcome smoothie in their hands while being introduced to the team building activity plan. After a short briefing, an ingenious team building incentive with several stations started the activity programme.
The task of the chain reaction, a fun team building activity, is to create a station out of certain materials and predetermined tools provided to the different small groups. In the end, the groups have to pick up a stimulus with their station and pass it on to the next via ingenious mechanisms, resembling a domino effect. The interface between the own and the station of the neighbouring group must be designed in a way that ensures one big chain reaction of all stations and the arrival of the stimulus at the very last station.
This team building activity is easy to be integrated into the content of a preceding meeting or into the special characteristics and needs of the company. So, at the individual stations of the chain reaction, one can, for example, unfurl a banner with keywords, set off fireworks or launch a model airplane. The design options for the team building activity are versatile and ? as is often the case with concepts of extensive incentive and team building programmes ? only limited by your own imagination.
